When Kaylie and Cody got married, they didn’t have a honeymoon.
So, Kaylie decided to organise a special trip for their fifth wedding anniversary…and not just a trip…she planned a Vow Renewal as well.
As the couple live in Oregon, on the west coast of the United States, there was quite a lot of planning involved – especially as Kaylie wanted the Vow Renewal to be somewhere along the Causeway Coast of Northern Ireland.
But…with a Skype call and lots of emails we got it all organised – and, as part of the Ceremony, I shared how it all began…
“Your love story begins back in 2013 with a simple meeting…Kaylie, you went to collect a prescription from the pharmacy…and Cody was the pharmacist…
You found him to be very attractive…and you sent a text to your Dad telling him…and he jokingly said that he knew the pharmacist…and would tell him what you, Kaylie, thought…
But…he wasn’t joking…he did tell Cody…and Cody, that evening you asked Kaylie’s Dad for her phone number…and sent her a text…
You were soon spending time together and very quickly knew you both wanted to be together for the rest of your lives…”
With the ruins of Dunseverick Castle as a backdrop, the couple had a romantic ceremony…followed by photographs along the coast, including sunset at Dunluce Castle.
Afterwards, Kaylie had this to say…
