Over the past six years I’ve led many funeral services. Most have been in funeral homes or the crematorium, with some held in the family home.
To-day, under lock down, was different. No services are allowed in the crematorium, so this family held a celebration of life for their loved one in the garden of the family home. Social distancing was observed, but the celebration was personal, even intimate, and so much better than the usual crematorium service.
